When is the Full Moon?
Let's go back to the basics. The Moon has a cycle that spans about 28 days. During this period, the star will give the impression of disappearing in the sky, then it will grow, taking the shape of a quarter, a crescent, and then a complete circle. This is where the Full Moon appears, about a fortnight after the beginning of the lunation. To find out the dates of this unique event, it is best to refer to a lunar calendar. Generally, they are indicated by a white circle. Once this lunar phase is over, the Moon will gradually decrease and disappear once again. This will be a sign that the lunation is over and that a new cycle is about to begin.
How long is the Full Moon?
If the Full Moon has a specific date and time, its powers are said to extend over several days. Thus, its effects were felt two or three days before and two or three days after. If from an astronomical point of view, the Full Moon simply indicates the moment when the star is illuminated in its entirety by the Sun (hence its round and complete shape), for witches and astrology enthusiasts, this lunar phase would be the moment when we feel the powers of the Moon most intensely. Hence the fact that rituals and celebrations take place on Full Moon evenings.

The Full Moon is a magical night, it is the moment when the energies of the Moon peak. During this lunar phase, everything becomes clear, everything becomes achievable, more intense, more brilliant. According to some beliefs, during the Full Moon, the veil that separates our world (that of the tangible) from the world of the invisible becomes thinner, it disappears. And, since the Moon is the star that governs our emotions, all our sensitivity is exacerbated. In all that is most luminous, the Full Moon is a time of forgiveness. This is the moment when we free ourselves from negative energies and everything that we do not want to drag or no longer wish to drag. More than that, it is a time to become aware of one's own power. We release our emotions, we thank the Moon for its help, for its strength. The Full Moon would therefore coincide with the moment when our dearest wishes come true. Full Moon Infusions
But the Full Moon does not always have only positive effects. Known to cause insomnia, this lunar phase is also capable of awakening certain emotions that we were trying to avoid. Beware of rising stress, anxiety or anger. On these evenings, the Moon does not overlook any sensitivity. For some people, the Full Moon is then a fateful time when everything is so intense that it becomes difficult to stay calm. This appointment pushes us to action, it reactivates the forces that lie dormant within us. If, in beauty, it is the perfect time to moisturize your skin or cut your hair, from a psychological point of view, the Full Moon is there to question us. What do you want to reveal? What do you want to give up? What are the dreams you see materializing? The time to take stock...
