If you have received a vaccine (COVID, flu, etc.), here are the essentials to know, simply and clearly:
✅ 1. What is normal after a vaccine
Within 24 to 72 hours, it is common to have:
Arm pain or redness
fatigue
Headaches
Low-grade fever or chills
Muscle
👉 pain These are signs that your immune system is working.
They usually disappear on their own (sometimes 2–3 days).
💡 Rest, hydration, and possibly paracetamol if necessary (unless contraindicated).
⚠️ 2. When to consult quicklyCall a doctor or go to the emergency room if you have:
difficulty breathing
swelling of the face or throat
generalized rash, severe itching
severe chest pain, severe dizziness
fever > 39°C that persists for more than 48 hours
Pain, redness, or warmth in the arm that worsens sharply after 3–4 days
worrisome symptoms that don't go away
These reactions are rare, but it is best to check.
🛡️ 3. What the vaccine does (and doesn't do)
✔️ It greatly reduces the risk of severe disease, hospitalization and death.
✔️ It can reduce transmission — but not completely.
❌ It does not destroy the immune system.
❌ It does not accumulate "secret toxins" in the body.
❌ It does not modify DNA.
📅 4. After vaccination
Continue to practice hygiene (wash your hands, stay at home if sick).
Inform your doctor of any medical history at future reminders.
Keep your vaccination booklet/certificate.
🧪 Article 5. Pregnancy, chronic diseases, medications
In the vast majority of cases, vaccination remains beneficial, but some situations require personalized medical advice (pregnancy, immunosuppressive treatments, known severe allergies, etc.).
➡️ If you have any doubts, talk to your doctor
